The awRev Advance Wars Design Maps Database is a searchable collection of 1,351 playable, community-created Advance Wars maps and custom fan-made battlefields.
Players can browse and search Advance Wars Design Maps by map title, creator, gameplay category, game, map size, number of players, and tags. Map entries may include an image, creator attribution, description, metadata, categories, downloadable map file, and community comments.
The database currently contains 70 awRev maps and 1,281 recovered AWN Design Maps. These include competitive maps, campaign maps, themed maps, experimental maps, multiplayer maps, and other custom Advance Wars creations.
Advance Wars Revolution (awRev) is an active Advance Wars community website, strategy guide and walkthrough hub, and Design Maps platform. The database brings together maps from the original 2005–2007 awRev community and the historic AWN Design Maps community alongside new submissions from current Advance Wars players and creators.
Historical maps are presented as works created by individual community members in the context of their original era. Their inclusion in the database does not imply current endorsement by awRev of a map's subject matter, description, historical interpretation, political framing, or other viewpoints expressed by its creator.
The unified database brings together thousands of hours of Advance Wars map design, tactical experimentation, multiplayer balancing, campaigns, creative work, and community history while maintaining clear creator attribution, contributor profiles, searchable records, and continued community participation.
