Founded in August 2005, Advance Wars Revolution connects the classic Advance Wars fan-site era with the modern community. The website was rebuilt in 2026 by YoyoYoshi, its current owner and webmaster, with restored historical material, new guides, videos, creator projects, community submissions, and ongoing updates.

I've completed the Advance Wars: Dual Strike Normal Campaign walkthrough on awRev.
The page now covers all 27 missions with recommended COs, opening moves, map mechanics, strategic priorities, and links to my complete video playthrough.
The run earned 26 S-Ranks, including a perfect 830-point S-Rank in the final mission, Means to an End.

I've written the awRev About page. What started as a site history ended up becoming one of the most comprehensive accounts of awRev and the Advance Wars fansite era I've ever put together.

I restored the old awRev Battalion Wars walkthrough by Da_Nut and reposted it on the site.
I updated the guide with internal mission links, cleaner formatting, and improved navigation while preserving Da_Nut's original walkthrough content and structure.
It's also a fun reminder that awRev was already branching slightly beyond Advance Wars back in the mid-2000s, with Battalion Wars fitting naturally alongside the broader Nintendo Wars strategy ecosystem.
I also restored Syzygy's massive 2006 AWDS Hawke analysis guide, cleaning it up and reformatting it for modern readability.
Restoring continuity, one guide at a time.

I've added new community features to awRev. Registered users can now submit guides and fanfiction directly through the site for review.
I also expanded the Guides section with five recovered guides from the old awRev and AWB era, including several classic walkthroughs and strategy guides that are now publicly available again.
I still have a lot more planned, but my goal is to make awRev an active place for Advance Wars maps, guides, fanfiction, discussion, and community projects again over time.

I've brought awRev back online. The Design Maps section currently contains 1,350 maps, including original awRev maps and AWN maps.
I've also launched community features. You can browse maps, leave comments and recommendations, upload your own maps directly through the site, and reconnect with other Advance Wars players, creators, and longtime community members. I've also opened an official Discord server.
