Survival Missions: (Missions 1, 2, 5 and 9 have specific strategies that work 99.99% of the time, follow them for the best chance of winning.)
NOTE:
This guide assumes you have all characters and skills.
This guide will advise you as to when you need to switch the active character.
The AI is random, so if something doesn't go the way this guide says it does, don't blame me. XD.
Characters: Any strong hard hitting character will do for this position, this guide will choose Grimm though, and I recommend him and Javier.
Skills:
Grimm: Bruiser, Brawler, Sale Price, Fire Sale.
Javier: Teamwork, Synergy, Bodyguard, Star Power.
Mission No.1: Silo Sweep
Day 1: Deploy an Infantry at both Bases.
Day 2: Move the Infantry that is on the lower Base down 2 and right 1. Move the top Infantry up 2 and right one. Move the Medium Tank left 1.
Day 3: Move both Infantries 3 squares to the right. Move the Md Tank left 1.
Day 4: Move both Infantries right 2 and launch both Silos onto the Neotanks (make sure you hit all 3 with both Silos). Move the Medium Tank 4 to the right.
Day 5: (At this point, this guide assumes that two of the Neotanks joined.) Move both Infantries 2 to the right and launch the Silos onto the Neotanks (hit the two of them.) Destroy one of the Neotanks with the Medium Tank.
Day 6: Move the Medium Tank next to the remaining Neotank and destroy it.
Mission No. 2: Bad Pangaea
Day 1: Deploy a MegaTank from the bottom left Base.
Day 2: Destroy the Minicannon below you using the MegaTank.
Day 3: Move the MegaTank next to the APC and destroy the APC.
Day 4: Move the MegaTank next to the Infantry and destroy the Infantry.
Mission No. 3: Chokepoint
The best thing to do here is just to deploy Infantry and capture the Com Towers. At the end of your second turn, switch to Javier so his Com Tower defence will protect you. Once you have captured all of the Com Towers, Go after Colin's HQ. Also, dont move the Neotank or Tank until the Green Earth pieces are in range. The Neotank will have no problem disposing of the MegaTank when you have captured all of the Com Towers.
Mission No. 4: Cold Shoulder
This is one of the few missions where you need to spend a lot of money. You need to build 3 Neotanks and 2 Tanks, as if you don't destroy your opponent quickly, you'll need to deploy more and more units to defeat your opponent. As I said earlier, 3 Neotanks and 2 Tanks are all you're going to need. 3 Neotanks on the first turn, 2 Tanks on the second. Also, if a powerful unit (Neotank etc) is built, eliminate it quick. Use your Tag Power here to finish this mission quick.
Mission No. 5: Crowded Plain
Day 1: Deploy a Piperunner from the bottom Base. Deploy a Piperunner from the left Base. Move the top Piperunner 1 right 2 down 2 right 2 down 2 left.
Day 2: Attack the MegaTank with the two Piperunners that are within range. Move the remaining Piperunner next to the MegaTank.
Day 3: Destroy the MegaTank with the two Piperunners.
Mission No. 6: Narrow Road
This map is surprisingly easy. There are two main ways to do this.
1st way:
Deploy an Infantry from a Base. March one Infantry unit to the 3 Silos on one side of the pipe.
Once you get there, don't actually launch them. Just wait until they end up on the other side of the pipe following you.
Once they are out of range, quickly deploy an Infantry and an APC and send it to the enemy HQ.
2nd way:
Use Javier as your main. Capture all of the Com Towers using Infantry.
When the MegaTanks reach you, just march the Infantry to the enemy HQ, as they can't even do 1 damage to you.
Mission No. 7: Triple Threat
This is one of the other expensive maps. Taking the middle route is usually the best way though.
In the end, you deploy 2 Fighters, 2 Black Bombs, 1 Bomber and a T-Copter.
Day 1: Deploy a Fighter and 2 Black Bombs.
Day 2: Deploy a Fighter.
Day 3: Deploy the Bomber and a T-Copter.
After you get rid of Grimms aerial assault, send the Bomber in and destroy the Weak Spot in the pipe. Move the T-Copter with an Infantry in it to the HQ.
Mission No. 8: The Gooping
Infantry all the way here. Surprisingly though, use Grimm instead of Javier because the Oozium is your only problem. Continuously deploy Infantry until you can get an Infantry that has full health that is within range of the HQ.
Once you do, move it onto the HQ, capture and activate your Tag Power. You win. Of course, you may not even need to grab the Com Towers, though it is advisable.
2nd Way:
Day 1: Deploy Infantry.
Day 2: On the leftmost Base, deploy a Neotank.
Day 3: Deploy Infantry from all Bases.
That's about it really, as after that second handful of Infantry, if you unleash the Tag Power you will annihilate the enemy.
Mission No. 9 Single File Island
Day 1: Deploy an Infantry at both Bases. Deploy a T-Copter at the Airport.
Day 2: Move the T-Copter up 2 left 4. Move the right most Infantry up 3. Move the leftmost Infantry up 2 and load it into the T-Copter. Deploy an Infantry from both Bases.
Day 3: Move the T-Copter up 5. Move the top Infantry up 2. Move the remaining Infantries up 3 spaces. Deploy an Infantry from the rightmost Base. Switch to Grimm.
Day 4: Move the top Infantry up 1 left 2. Move the leftmost Infantry up 1 right 2. Move the (new) top Infantry up 2. Move the remaining Infantry up 3.
Day 5: Move the leftmost Infantry right 1 up 2 onto the Silo and launch it onto the Tank that is three spaces to the right of the top right Green Earth City. Move the bottom Infantry up 3 onto the Silo and launch it onto the Tank that is three spaces to the right of the top right Green Earth City. Move the T-Copter up 4 right 1 and unload the Infantry one space to the left of the T-Copter. Move the top Infantry left 1 up 2. Move the remaining Infantry up 1 left 2.
Day 6: Move the Infantry that is adjacent to the T-Copter down 1 and capture the HQ. Move the rightmost Infantry left 3. Move the leftmost Infantry right 3 and join the units. Move the top Infantry up 1. Move the remaining unit left 1 up 2.
Day 7: Finish capturing with the Infantry unit. Move the T-Copter down 2. Move the top Infantry right 1.
Day 8: Move the top left Infantry down 1 right 1 onto the T-Copter and load it. Move the T-Copter down 6.
Day 9: Move the T-Copter right 6.
Day 10: Re-position the T-Copter 2 spaces down.
Day 11: Move the T-Copter right 6 and drop the Infantry onto the HQ. Move the bottom Infantry up 3 and launch the Silo onto the Artillery three spaces up from the T-Copter. Move the (new) bottom Infantry up 1 right 2 and launch the Silo onto the Artillery three spaces up from the T-Copter. Move the remaining unit right 3 and launch the Silo onto the Artillery three spaces up from the T-Copter.
Day 12: Capture the HQ with the Infantry.
Day 13: Finish Capturing.
Mission No. 10: The Swarm
There's not too much you can say here. You'll need 2 Medium Tanks and 2~3 B Copters depending on how the AI plays it. That's it you want to get it over with quick though.
Another messier but less expensive way is to deploy 2 Infantry and a B Copter every turn.
Tip: The Piperunner is very important, so if a Mech attacks it, destroy the Mech immediately. If an Infantry attacks it though, don't kill the Infantry unless there isn't a Mech to take its place.
Also, use the Piperunner to attack the units trying to capture Bases.
Mission No. 11: Grit's Gambit
How you play this mission depends on funds available. If you have over 100000, then start with Mech units, and when the enemy drops below 10 units, deploy some stronger units (Tanks, etc.)
Mainly though, this mission is all about deploying Mech units every turn.
That's really it. Just continuously deploy Mech units. Attack everything in sight and you'll win because it's F.O.W. This includes the Medium Tanks by the way.
