C.2 Intro
The Hole army has many pieces of unique technology. Ranging from weak Minicannons to the powerful Death, all of them are vulnerable to attack. In this snippet, you will learn a lot about these weapons. So start reading!
C.3 Black and Minicannons
Black and Minicannons are the staple weapons of the BHTech. The monstrous Black fires at the beginning of the owner’s turn (unless you are seeing it for the first time in the AW2 campaign, in which case it will fire once every other day), and has a range of 10 spaces away extending in a triangle shape away from the Cannon. Minicannons are smaller and can attack up to 5 spaces away in the same shape. Black deal 5 damage, whereas Minicannons deal 3. They are automatically programmed to attack the most valuable unit in its range. So, it will attack a Medium before a Rocket, and a 6HP tank before a Recon. Black are vulnerable to attack on the door-looking thing on the south side, no matter which way the cannon is facing. Minicannons, which only take up one space, are vulnerable from all sides. They all have the same amount of health as all Black Tech, and should succumb to slightly beefed-up Bomber or Neotank or a Megatank, and can be easily defeated in 2 attacks by Rockets.
C.5 Laser
These weapons shoot a laser in all directions from them at the beginning of the owner’s turn. The beam continues to the edge of the screen. They deal 5 damage to every unit they strike, friend of foe. The most effective way to kill them is an indirect unit, as there is no fear of a counterattack. Also, slightly beefed-up Bomber or Neotank or a Megatank.
C.6 Black
The Onyx is the guardian angle to the Black. This huge battle satellite can only be defeated by firing all the missile silos in Crystal in under 50 minutes. If it does attack, it uses an attack like Sturm’s Meteor if you're to slow (10 minutes after it gets hit by a missile).
C.7 Black and Obelisks
These large crystals are used to repair and re-supply black hole units. Black operate within a radius of 2 spaces from it, and the Black effects units within a radius of 4 spaces.
C.8 Deathray
This enormous satellite dish-looking weapon is Sturm’s pride and joy. Every 7 days, it fires a ray southward three spaces wide directly beneath it. It deals 8 damage to every non-Black unit that it comes in contact with. Because if its lengthy charge-up time, it’s really not an enormous threat. It is only in Final, the last mission of AW2.
C.9 Special
AWRev Staff,
Nintendo,
Intelligent,
Syzygy, for telling me how much damage the death ray does.
