South America, Alternate Timeline.
Political tensions have escalated into open war as rival regional powers compete for influence across South America. In the north, Colombia and Venezuela have formed an uneasy coalition to expand their strategic position and secure control of key trade routes and natural resources. In the south, Argentina mobilizes its armed forces to preserve the regional balance of power and prevent northern domination of the continent.
Although Brazil and the remaining South American nations have declared their neutrality, the conflict threatens to spread beyond its original borders. Whoever controls the continent's ports, mountain passes, river systems, and major population centers will gain the advantage in a war that could reshape South America's future.
This fictional scenario emphasizes large-scale maneuver warfare across a geographically diverse continent. Players must balance rapid offensives with the challenge of securing long supply lines over mountains, jungles, and vast open terrain. Fog of War is optional for commanders seeking an additional strategic challenge.
Will the northern coalition unite South America under its influence, or can Argentina restore the balance of power?
