Mission #8: Blackout
Adder infiltrates Orange Star and sabotages a powerplant under cover of darkness.
Black Hole CO: Adder
Orange Star CO: Hachi (Nell if you haven't unlocked Hachi yet)
Objectives: Destroy the four powerplant reactors (Pipe seams) to plunge the coast of Orange Star into darkness.
Premission Dialogue:
Adder: It's about time you called Hawke.
Hawke: Yes well, I was delayed.
Adder: Delayed?
Hawke: It's nothing you should be concerned about. What you should be concentrating on is your insertion into Orange Star.
Adder: Yes... Orange Star... our old friends. Heh heh heh.
Hawke: I warn you Adder, don't underestimate them. The day you do is the day you fail.
Adder: Don't worry Hawke. I don't plan on getting caught out in the open with the likes of them. No, I'm going to strike at a powerplant and start a rolling blackout. It should be easy enough to slip in under the cover of darkness with the whole southern seaborn in chaos.
Hawke: Whatever you do, just do it right. Hawke out.
Adder: Hm... I wonder, who will I be facing today? Captain! We're moving out!
BH Soldier: Yes sir!
Black Hole, Day 1:
Adder: Well well. Look what we have here... a poor naval and air presence. It's a good thing I came prepared. Orange Star is getting sloppy.
Hachi: Sloppy eh? No, it's just good planning. A good ground campaign can repel any air force.
Adder: What? This is just my luck. Another old man! Why do I always get caught with the gerry atrics?
Hachi: Old man? I think you'll see the elderly have plenty of tricks up their sleeves!

Hachi: Who am I? Well, you have to be pretty in the dark to ask a question like that!
Adder: In the dark? Your whole country will be in the dark when I'm through with you! All forces! Remember! The Orange Star forces are the least of your concern! Our goal lies in the destruction of the powerplant! Destroy all four reactors (pipe seams)!
Orange Star, Day 1:
Hachi: Hm... our air and naval forces are stretched a bit too thin... Oh well, I'll make something happen. I always do!
Black Hole Defeat:
Adder: This is impossible! Lost to another old man! What is this?
Hachi: Hey son! Cheer up. It's better you stayed away from Orange Star in the first place.
Adder: Just keep cackling. I'll be back! And next time, I'll make better use of my naval forces! As soon as I get rid of your anti-air. You're finished!
Hachi: Better move fast then. I have two bases at my disposal. And money is something I'm well versed in.
Black Hole Victory:
BH Soldier: Sir! The whole coast is going dark!
Adder: Heh heh heh... excellent. We'll use this moment to slip in. By the way old man, you seem to have some skill.
Hachi: I was once commander-in-chief of Orange Star for a reason you know.
Adder: Commander-in-chief? Wait a minute... you're... Hachi?
Hachi: Last time I checked.
Adder: ... You mean... I challenged... the legendary Hachi? I feel ill...
Hachi: You're just fortunate Orange Star is divided on some issues. We would have had more air and naval defense otherwise.
