General, our campaign now turns to Scandinavia. Control of Denmark will secure access to the Baltic Sea, while the ports of Norway are essential for protecting shipments of Swedish iron ore and expanding our naval and submarine operations into the North Atlantic. These objectives are vital to Germany's continued war effort.
At the same time, Soviet forces continue their campaign against Finland. Although our immediate priority lies in Scandinavia and Western Europe, Finland's survival may prove valuable should war with the Soviet Union become inevitable.
The occupation of Denmark and Norway would reshape the strategic balance in Northern Europe while bringing years of military occupation and hardship to their populations. Speed and coordination are essential before Allied intervention can threaten the operation.
Strike quickly, General. Secure Scandinavia, prepare the invasion of France, and establish Germany's northern flank.
Mission Objectives:
- Defeat Denmark and secure the route to Norway.
- Capture Norway's ports to support future naval operations.
- Defeat Belgium and the Netherlands to prepare for the invasion of France.
- Support Finland whenever possible against Soviet forces.
- Defeat all Allied forces within 22 days.
