A map I've been working on for awhile now. Its been through many changes, one changing nearly the entire map for balance. Fight from 1 of the 4 sectors of this wasteland for complete control. Be aware that each has its advantages and disadvantages. -Command the Red mountain base to receive plenty of natural barriers around your encampment. You will suffer from little terrain cover and your spread out properties. FTA adds 1 square to the second base. -Command the Blue forest base to receive maximum terrain cover. Very little natural barriers exist within your bases premises and there are minimal amounts of roads. -Command the Green riverside base to receive the easily defend-able fortress complete with river moats. You will suffer from a small base area and choked up exits. -Command the Yellow industrial zone to receive a quick start to your game mixed with some natural barriers. You will suffer from the wide open areas around you and a good chance to be surrounded by the Red and Green teams. LTD (Last Turn Disadvantage) subtracts 1 square to the second base. No matter which base you pick, it is an equal distance to the center from your equivalent second base (with OS and YC being 1 square off for balance). The central city is a place that everyone will wish for. A third base will benefit the owners army, and can send troops to any of the 4 corners within a couple days. The surrounding cities will also increase income so you can build stronger units without having to save-up cash over a few days. Do be warned that any base you pick will have 3 openings: 1 to the middle, 1 to the East/West, and 1 to the North/South. Infantry will also be able to enter from any direction, so keep an eye out in Fog of War. As a last note, each sector has the same amount of forests within their immediate base area: 5. BM is surrounded by quite a few forests outside this, but their immediate base has been balanced this way. Choose whatever settings you wish. This map has been proven to work with teams, but is publicized as an FFA.
