Basically, you're up against Sensei, and you've got a problem right off the bat. While you can easily dispatch with the forces he sends your way (they come right through the choke like idiots), guess what? That charges his COP, so infantry/mechs will land on all those cities. Not to mention the fact that he'll have b-copters and t-copters coming through the sublocks, which will be a BIG problem if you aren't careful. your mission is to jump from island to island until you hit GE's defense platforms. Once you get through that, you'll be able to deliver the finishing blow.
