The second map of a German World War I campaign. August 17, 1914 - August 31, 1914 It seems that our attack on France has provoked an attack from their ally, Russia. The Russian army is attacking in the Masurian Lake region in East Prussia. A scouting party has been sent out to gauge how big the Russian forces outside Konigsberg and Strassburg are, so you'll know what you're going up against. You've been given command of the 4th and 5th German Armies. Here are your objectives: 1. Defend Konigsberg(northern most OS city) 2. Route the Russian forces at Lautenburg(western most GE city) 3. Finish off the entire Russian army OR 3. Capture the Russian HQ at Angerburg Report back to army headquarters when you've completed your objectives. Good luck. Update: Took out some PD's on each side, but Germans still have more(if anyone can recall what happened to the Russians in this battle . . . yes).
