Why aren't we allowed to cut down the screenshot size? I hate looking at all that empty space, someone should really fix that. Anyway... My Skeletal map, as they seem to be all the rage. And this one isn't symmetrical! There are Woods under all the predeployed troops (except Landers of course, there are Shoals under the Landers). Meant for Fog of War. Notice you only have one Lander to take your troops from the HQ area to the outside and back again. Better not lose it, because if you do your HQ is vulnerable to attack and you're not getting another Lander. You have some choices at the start of the battle. You could set up camp at one of the property-heavy areas, but you're opponent could be trying to do the same. You could try to grab the base that's far from the enemy's reach to guarantee you aren't both going for the same base, but it lacks properties and you'd be getting off to a slow start. Or you could let your enemy leave his HQ and then pounce on it with your troops. You have to be worried about your own HQ too. You could leave the Tank there to guard it, but you might need it later if you meet the enemy early...
